Calibration Services for your Cirrus noise measurement instruments
Calibration and servicing of your noise measurement equipment is vital to ensuring that it continues to meet the specifications it did when it was new. Many factors can affect the performance of noise measurement instruments and so an annual check-up is the best way to ensure that your equipment is still operating as it was intended to do.
Occupational Health Dynamics (OHD) are the Cirrus Authorised Service & Calibration Center, one of only four centers outside of the UK Head Office to have gained this status, and are the only Authorised Service & Calibration Center for Cirrus noise meters, sound level meters, noise dosimeters and noise measurement equipment in the United States.

The service and calibration team at OHD have been trained by Cirrus engineers and undertake regular audits from Cirrus to ensure that the level of support and calibration meets the required standard. You can be sure that your Cirrus instrument will receive the very highest level of service and calibration and where repairs are required, only parts and software supplied by Cirrus will be used.
All Cirrus noise measurement instruments are supplied with a 2 year warranty. When your equipment is serviced and calibrated by OHD on an annual basis, this warranty is extended by a further 15 months up to a total of 15 years.
Why do I need to calibrate my noise measurement instruments?
If you are using your noise measurement instrument to meet any Standards, Regulations or Guidelines it is essential that your equipment is measuring accurately. If you are working any standards that requires the use of noise measurement equipment, the standards to which the equipment must comply will be clearly stated. Your instrument may also need to be repaired if it has been damaged or is not working correctly.
It is recommended that recalibration of noise measurement instruments is carried out annually because your instruments and calibrators are sensitive precision equipment. Over time, due to movement and use, they require adjustment to ensure that the measurements you are taking remain accurate, helping you to avoid potential errors in your noise measurements.
Annual servicing is like an annual check up for your equipment. This will involve a thorough check of the performance of the instrument, may allow for software updates and improvements to be installed as well as prolonging the life of your investment.
